My primary role as a Creative Director was overseeing the Ford Warriors in Pink program creative and the Ford CRM creative team.
In the past 11 years, I've ideated, written and managed projects across all mediums for a whole lot of products and programs, such as: ALL Ford and Lincoln Nameplates – plus
Ford Service, Ford Credit & Ford Collision, Ford's Women's Initiatives (D Show short list), Drive 4UR School, Drive 4UR Community, Lincoln Owner, Lincoln Service, Detroit Children's Choir (D Show short list) and Mackinac State Parks (D Show Award).
Home & Beyond 2003 - 2011
On top of part-time freelancing, I went into full-time mom mode when my first daughter was born. When my second daughter started kindergarten, I went back to JWT, which was Team Detroit by then.
Freelance work included writing website content and collateral for a Northern Michigan vacation rental company, a pet-care startup, financial advisors, local fundraisers, legal services, school functions and all the miscellaneous favors my friends and family could squeeze outta me.

I wrote and helped manage the i2i group as an ACD. Ford car, truck, SUV – along with other programs and events tied to Ford Motor Company. Cause marketing, CRM, owner, catalog, collateral, print, OOH, direct mail, packaging, web – and an entire series of Thunderbird books.
Won a slew of awards, including a couple Caddies, a Mobius and an International Automotive Advertising Award for the Thunderbird Collection.

As a Senior Writer I worked on Delta Faucet, Masco, Whirpool, AC Delco, GMAC, Chevy, IBM and Top Driver. Print, direct mail, catalog, radio, trade shows, lots of POS including in-store video – and my first encounter with digital.
Won a Mobius for an integrated Masco Trade Show campaign.

In between, I wrote destination articles for Utell Travel.
Prior to my time at Meridian, I'm still proud of my first-ever paid job as a writer: crafting scripts for on-hold phone messages!
